One year, for Christmas, I had a camera on my wishlist. I was the ripe old age of eleven and a stinker of a kid and pestered my baby sister to tell me what I was getting. She confirmed my hope of a camera but shortly after my parents found out I had weaseled the info out of her and on that beautiful Christmas morning, I did NOT get my camera, I have no idea what I got... but fear not, I got it later that year I got it for my birthday. I had to pay for my own film so I just got whatever I could find and would pose my tattle-tail sister and my friends, to the point they would just get annoyed. But I loved it. Of course, as soon as digital cameras came out, I had to get me one of those and never even thought twice about it.
After years of practice and work, I decided to get back to my roots and really challenge myself with film. At first I shot on my old college Canon Rebel, but recently I purchased an old Mamiya RB67, if you have no idea what I'm talking about that's ok. I'm happy to talk about this camera allllllllll day.
